A reference center in Italy for cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology as well as senile maculopathies, diabetic retinopathies, glaucomas and center of excellence in orthopedics, neurosurgery and oncology. It features 135 beds, 5 operating rooms and 1 for day surgery as well as 3 rooms for diagnostic and interventional cardio-angiology and electrophysiology, among which is a state-of-the-art hybrid operating room. It also has an agreement with G. D’Annunzio University of Chieti for clinical and research activity in the fields of cardiac surgery, cardiovascular diseases, neurosurgery and radiotherapy using linear particle accelerators.
