Located in the heart of Bari the tertiary care hospital has been a reference center in Italy for birthing, infertility treatment, medically assisted procreation, neonatology, gynecology and breast cancer as well as a center of excellence for orthopedics and traumatology, cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology adopting innovative and minimally invasive techniques. It features 186 beds, 4 operating rooms for major surgery and 2 for day surgery, a catheterization laboratory for interventional cardiology (hemodynamics and electrophysiology) as well as an operating room reserved exclusively to the maternity ward.
