The hospital in the «Golden City» of Pforzheim is an efficient and modern tertiary care hospital with a capacity of 500 beds. Being an Academic Teaching Hospital of Ruprecht Karl University Heidelberg, Helios Hospital Pforzheim comprises 15 departments and two medical institutes, has its own pharmacy and is equipped with state-of-the-art medical devices. About 1,300 staff members ensure on a daily basis that our patients receive competent and comprehensive medical care in line with the state of the art round the clock. Every year, 24,000 inpatients and 67,000 outpatients are treated at the hospital. At the Department of Obstetrics, more than 1,450 babies are born annually.
