The hospital offers 354 beds distributed over the departments of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiology and Angiology, Internal Medicine comprising Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Pneumology, General and Visceral Surgery, Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery, Vascular Surgery as well as Radiology. The Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine and the External Physician Department of Otorhinolaryngology complement the range of medical services.
The ever more complex requirements for medical services are accommodated by the hospital's interdisciplinary medical centers. These include the Obesity Center, Center for Hernia Repair, Interdisciplinary Vascular Center, the Certified Colon Cancer Center, the Lung Center, the Spine Center, the Regional Trauma Center, the Aortic Center Rhine-Sieg and the Heart Center Siegburg.
The Helios Heart Center Siegburg is one of only a few heart centers in Germany. The Heart Center Siegburg with its specialist departments of Cardiology/Angiology and Heart Surgery enjoys an excellent reputation on both national and international scale. Heart specialists began their work here more than twenty years ago. Since then, the Heart Center has been a pioneer in numerous innovative treatment methods. More than 7,000 patients are treated here at the Heart Center each year. With the three departments of cardiac surgery and thoracic surgery, rhythmology and electrophysiology, as well as cardiology and angiology, we specialize in all topics and medicine related to your heart.
